Back From Hiatus

So after getting tracked down by my LJ stalker here, I tried to hang on, but ultimately felt too unnerved and ended up temporarily locking all my posts. They remain locked for the time being. It made me feel safer doing so, even though they could no longer access any of my content. I guess my nerves are too fraught these days. I am still debating if I should ditch DW altogether, even if this place is the last remaining online profile I have left. Anyway - - -

This morning’s view from the balcony: Freezing cold with thick frost everywhere. Made me want to go back to bed. Which I promptly did. This week I worked, slept, attempted to watch a couple of movies, abandoning each 20 min in and slept some more. I did go into town yesterday to grab a coffee and collect some online purchases; also took a quick selfie before heading out:

I’ve been mulling whether to follow this years’s Eurovision (several national selections have been announced already and I really should be getting into it pronto, if I’m not to miss anything), but remembering last year’s chaos surrounding the main event, which left us all stressed and drained, as well as my current lack of energy, I think I’ll have to give it a pass. Shame, really, since ESC community is one of the friendliest and most enjoyable ones I’ve ever been a part of. Ah well, next year perhaps.

I'll wrap this now and try to catch up with my friends list next. I have coffee and warm chocolate s’mores brownies to keep me going.
